My story....

I am a multi-instrumentalist, composer and conductor living and working in the West of Ireland. Before the lockdown, I was working constantly as a conductor - focussing on contemporary ensemble music and opera. I really enjoyed it and I felt lucky to have the work, but with the lockdown, it all just stopped. Suddenly I had an opportunity to rediscover my own musical creativity, and start to create my own music again - after a hiatus of over a decade! I learned about recording techniques and discovered how to use midi and sample libraries - it was a revelation!

After years of seeking conducting opportunities, the realisation that I didn't need permission to play and create was liberating. The journey of discovery continues.....
